In Loving Memory and Honor of Susan Niebur

In Honor of Susan Neibur

Susan Niebur left us a year ago today. She left behind not only a family, but a legacy. Susan was a wife, mother, scientist, and to everyone who met her, friend.

I sat today and read through her Twitter stream today. And I cried. Because at times she asked for prayers, but most of the times, her tweets were filled with optimism, laughter and excitement.

What I remember most about Susan was her unfailing humor, positivity and courage. Susan was a woman who inspired and encouraged us all.

Today, I ask that you take a minute to read this poem and consider donating to the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society. These organizations were the ones Susan applauded for their work.

Please join bloggers throughout the web in honoring Susan Niebur’s life and contributions with a post, and please add your link below.

Her Twitter stream was/is so lovingly beautiful! Her love of her sisters on the Internet so pure. Her prayer requests so sincere. Thank you for reminding me to go read it, again. Love to you.

Even going through the hardest of times, she was such a positive force in the world. I can’t think of her without thinking of that beautiful, joyous smile of hers.
