Ugh: That’s it. Just ugh.

by Lisa on November 3, 2009

I have been swamped, covered, run-over, over scheduled. You name it, I can lay claim to it. Meaning I didn’t finish my Halloween Food Series and just want to cry! I still have the makings for clumping together my blood clots and pus in the fridge. Just ready to be put in a dessert glass. My pumpkin wine cooler? Still sitting, uncarved.

Where has the time gone? Non-profit work, volunteering, PTA fundraising, anything and everything that has nothing to do with A Daily Pinch. I am also in the middle of a designing a new site for a complete rebuild. That is covered with the mundane tasks of pondering how many action items should I have, how many columns do I want, what do my readers prefer, do I keep the same color scheme…I tell you, it’s enough to drive a girl to the coffee pot too many times in one day.

Personally, I am taking a working break this week. I am leaving the family at home and heading to a cottage at the beach to property sit for a friend and going to create content and sketch out my plans. After that? Business plan work. I want Daily Pinch to be a full-time job in six months.

On a more fun note, I was just hired at the Charlotte Editor for www.SavvySource.com! I will be handling and updating content for the Charlotte area pre-k crowd.

So, please forgive me for my slacker behavior. I don’t like it, but procrastination and disorganization LOVE me. Seriously. They just gush about me.
